the little fireplace

In the apartment Carla discovered a little fireplace that had been covered in plaster. They restored it, added a screen for efficiency of heat. It is about 36 inches. Every morning Vicky, the early riser, makes a little fireplace with the wood from the chestnut trees that Carlo chopped last summer. The aroma is lovely even nicer than peet from Ireland.
