The bells VA

I just love that every 1/2 hour the bells ring the time and a little song. The song varies, a religious variation of some kind. Growing up and attending Catholic school, we would call it the Angelus.
Here in VA, you hear it in the morning but then during the day you don't notice it. If the time of day is near noon or a traditional mass attendance time, the chime starts earlier to call you to mass. As I slowly awake every morning, the bells are calling, so wonderfully small town. I wonder how late they chime; they don't seem to awaken me.
